Our Caribu 1200 Denier Tail Bags are both waterproof & durable.

Made from the same high quality material as our popular Alpine and Eclipse range of turnout horse rugs - they are ideal for keeping your horses tail clean and dry.

Our Horse Rug Tail Bags feature:

• Waterproof Breathable 1200 Denier material
• Anti Run lining, which extends 45cm down both internal faces of the tail bag.
• V shaped neck opening for comfortable fitting
• The bottom opening of the bag is slightly tapered to keep the tail secure.
• PP binding
• Available in 3 sizes

Tail bags available in 3 Sizes:

- Small with a 90cm drop
- Medium with a 110cm drop
- Large with a 130cm drop.

How do I attach the tail bag to my horse rug?

Our horse rug Tail Bags have velcro stitched to both sides of the top edge of the tail bag. Included with the tail bag is an additional extra wide secure hook & loop fastener which you attach to your horse rug in a suitable location on the under side. You sew up the middle of this fastner, allowing it to then sandwich closed around the top edge of the tail bag.

Please Note: We do not attach the tail bags to the horse rug - you will need to do this yourself. To insure a good fit - you do need to try the rug on the horse first to insure that you attach the tail bag to the rug in the correct location.

We suggest you avoid using tail bags on waterproof turnout rugs. When you stitch the attachment fastner to your horse rug, you will compromise the rugs waterproofing.
